What the official source provides

Portugal's publicações portal publishes searchable company-act records. Public detail pages can document dated company events and provide the text exposed by the publication route.

The portal is a stateful search application. Its forms can use ViewState, EventValidation, NoBot state and reCAPTCHA before returning results. A public publication is evidence of a dated act; it is not the same as a Certidão Permanente, complete commercial-register file or current shareholder register.

That distinction matters when a notice describes a capital, governance or corporate event. The publication can establish what was made public, but later records and underlying certificates may be required for the current legal position.

What dossaro adds

Agent workflow

1. Identify the exact Portuguese legal entity and known identifier.
2. Define a bounded publication date range and event question.
3. Search the publicações portal using the source-specific state.
4. Retain ambiguous company matches rather than selecting by name alone.
5. Follow the returned publication reference to its public detail page.
6. Parse available text and preserve the original source URL.
7. Record publication date, event context and any captcha or source limitation.
8. Check later publications before describing current status.

For Iberian research, keep this source separate from the Spanish BORME workflow. Both can feed an agent-controlled M&A screening assignment.

Evidence and outputs

Useful inputs include:

• registered company name;
• NIPC or another known identifier;
• publication or event date range;
• relevant company act;
• whether readable detail text is required.

Coverage and limitations

• Publicações is a filing-publication source, not a complete Portuguese company-profile or ownership API.
• The public search can require source-specific state and captcha handling.
• Certidão Permanente, company-file certificates and other code, account or payment products are outside this public path.
• A publication event does not automatically establish current ownership or beneficial ownership.
• Later publications can supersede an earlier event.
• Public detail text can be unavailable even when metadata exists.
• Empty results do not prove that no filing or company event exists.
