Reporting an issue

Readers, companies and source owners can report a factual error, missing document or material context through the contact details in the imprint. Please identify the article, disputed statement and supporting source.

Review standard

Every correction request is checked against the dated public record and any additional primary evidence supplied. A request is not accepted or rejected solely because it comes from a subject of the reporting.

Corrections

Factual errors are corrected as soon as they can be verified. Material corrections are identified in the article and its updated date is changed. Minor typographical or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not alter meaning.

Updates and clarifications

New filings or subsequent events may justify an update even when the original reporting was accurate. Updates distinguish the new information from the record available at first publication. Clarifications are used when wording was accurate but could reasonably create a misleading impression.

The original article URL is retained so links, citations and the public record remain stable.
