What the official source provides
France separates company identity, filed documents and commercial announcements across related public systems. The official Recherche Entreprises API provides live company search and profile JSON keyed to identifiers such as SIREN. Data INPI RNE provides public non-confidential acts and annual-accounts attachments through account-backed routes.
These surfaces answer different questions. The company profile establishes which legal entity the agent selected. An RNE act or accounts filing supplies dated document evidence. A BODACC commercial announcement records a publication event and should not be treated as a substitute for either.
Beneficial-owner information is not an open output of this workflow. A company match, officer row or public act can support a research conclusion only within the evidence actually returned.
What dossaro adds
dossaro connects the source steps into one reviewable agent workflow:
- search by SIREN or company name through Recherche Entreprises;
- preserve the selected legal entity and source-native identifiers;
- list public RNE acts and accounts metadata when Data INPI access is configured;
- fetch and parse returned PDF or structured-account references where supported;
- keep document type, filing date and original source attached;
- return typed missing-configuration, restricted or unavailable states.
The agent does not invent a document URL or silently replace an unavailable RNE record with an aggregated company field. For document-heavy diligence, the broader company-register documents workflow explains how to preserve that evidence trail across jurisdictions.
Agent workflow
- Start with the legal name and SIREN when known.
- Search Recherche Entreprises and retain plausible entity candidates.
- Confirm the selected company using identifier, legal form, address and status context.
- Request public RNE document metadata for the selected entity.
- Use the returned document reference for fetch or parse rather than reconstructing a source route.
- Record whether the artifact is an act, annual-accounts PDF or structured accounts record.
- Preserve filing dates, source URLs and any missing-configuration or access limitation.
- Compare later documents before describing a current legal or financial state.
This sequence is suitable for a single company or an agent-controlled French longlist. The company research agent workflow shows how to keep entity resolution and document review separate inside a larger assignment.
Evidence and outputs
Strong inputs include:
- exact registered name;
- SIREN or another returned identifier;
- requested act or accounts period;
- whether readable text, metadata or both are required;
- the point in time the conclusion must represent.
| Output | Research use |
|---|---|
| Resolved company profile | Binds later evidence to the correct French entity |
| SIREN and legal context | Distinguishes similarly named companies |
| RNE document reference | Supports safe list, fetch and parse follow-up |
| Document type and filing date | Establishes what the artifact is and when it was filed |
| Parsed text or structured accounts | Makes supported public evidence reviewable |
| Typed limitation | Separates restricted, unconfigured and unavailable evidence |
For cross-border research, the same output discipline can be paired with the Belgian CBE workflow without flattening the two source systems into one generic registry.
Coverage and limitations
- Recherche Entreprises profile lookup is public; Data INPI document access is account-backed and must be configured in the runtime.
- Only public non-confidential RNE acts and accounts are eligible for retrieval.
- Restricted RBE or beneficial-owner information is not exposed as open company-register evidence.
- Officer or representative fields are not automatically shareholder or control evidence.
- A public filing can lag a private transaction or later legal event.
- Empty or unavailable document results do not prove that no filing exists.
- Parsed text can lose signatures, stamps, layouts or table relationships present in the original.
- dossaro supplies source evidence and limitations, not legal, tax or investment advice.

Install dossaro, then continue the research
The setup guide lets a capable agent add the remote MCP, start OAuth with the user and return to this task.
Review the dossaro MCP setup guide at https://dossaro.com/agent-setup/prompt.md, configure dossaro when possible, complete OAuth with the user, then perform this task: Resolve this exact French company by name or SIREN, retrieve its strongest public profile and RNE act or accounts evidence, cite every returned source and date, and report missing configuration or restricted evidence without inferring beneficial ownership.Capability graph
