What the official source provides

Greece's General Commercial Registry, commonly called GEMI, provides a publicity portal for registered-company information. The public backend can expose company identity, legal form, status and capital fields alongside management or representation rows and dated publication material.

Depending on the company record, public documents can include authority decisions, modifications, statutes, other GEMI announcements and downloadable PDF artifacts. The Greek business portal also explains its publicity services.

GEMI's public roles answer who is recorded as managing or representing the company. They do not, by themselves, answer who owns the shares or qualifies as a beneficial owner. Ownership research must use the jurisdiction's actual ownership evidence, as explained in how to find private-company owners.

Agent workflow

1. Start with the exact legal name or GEMI number.
2. Search the public GEMI backend and compare name, legal form, status and location.
3. Retain the resolved GEMI number for every later call.
4. Retrieve the public profile and source-labeled management or representation roles.
5. Define the document question: statute, modification, authority decision or another publication.
6. List documents before selecting a returned reference.
7. Fetch or parse only the public document reference supplied by GEMI.
8. Record dates, source URLs and limitations, keeping role evidence separate from ownership claims.

Coverage and limitations

• Public decisions, statutes and modification PDFs are available only when GEMI marks and exposes the file publicly.
• Certified extracts, copies, password products and checkout-bound services are outside the public-free workflow.
• Financial-statement metadata does not guarantee a public downloadable financial file.
• A company-name search can be ambiguous; preserve and use the GEMI number.
